2. Personal data we process
We process personal data that you provide to us, for example when you submit our contact form, schedule a call, subscribe to our communications or enter into a contract with us. This typically includes identification and contact data (such as name, email address and telephone number), company details and the content of your communications with us.
We may also process business contact data from publicly available sources in order to contact businesses that may be interested in our services. When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technical data, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver the website and maintain its security.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data to respond to enquiries, to prepare and perform contracts, to send communications you have subscribed to, to manage our business and to comply with legal obligations. Depending on the purpose, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)), or our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell personal data and do not make decisions based solely on automated processing.
4. Recipients
Personal data may be shared with service providers that support our business operations, such as hosting, email, scheduling and customer relationship management providers. These providers act as data processors on our behalf under data processing agreements. We may also disclose personal data where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for longer where required by applicable law.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the link included in each email.
To exercise your rights, contact hello@melddigital.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
